Mr. Ogilvy’s mantra has been my guiding principle when creating results focused, integrated communication solutions across a wide range of industries, including technology, hospitality, healthcare, non-profits and higher education. Innovative, creative development combined with data driven market positioning and multichannel engagement continues to guide my approach when creating effective branding campaigns, and building top-performing teams.
I started my career at the age of 23 when I co-founded a branding and web development firm with $500 in my pocket, a handy tolerance for sleeping on the floor and an infectious desire to combine creativity and technology to create unique and effective branding solutions. Over the years, this small start-up grew to a multidisciplinary agency servicing clients from New York to Hawaii and garnered national recognition in publications such as Forbes, Time, Communication Arts, Print and Wall Street Journal.
I have led creative branding and marketing solutions for clients such as Las Vegas Nevada and Pittsburgh Pennsylvania; corporations including PNC Financial, US Steel, UPMC, Toyota and Kodak; numerous successful start-ups including Mapquest and Freemarkets; and institutions such as Wharton School of Business, MIT and Carnegie Mellon University.
After 20 years, and wondering what the other side of the table is like, I changed gears and became the first senior level hire of Choolaah Indian BBQ, an emerging Indian fast casual restaurant concept. In my current role as Chief Creative Officer, I am responsible for creating all aspects of the brand including, website design and development, social media and digital advertising, traditional marketing and advertising outreach, technology integrations, site analysis, store design, packaging, retail product design, loyalty program design, signage, systems and process development.
